Launch Session at Marmalade
One of the pillars of the Social Lab practice, which Rapid Action Lab (RAL) stems form, is getting diverse set of stakeholders together and that was the purpose of the launch session to start that work. The launch session was design to get important people from the Oxford early years community to come together and get a clearer picture and understanding of what an RAL is, the design of the Oxford RAL, increase the delivery teams and the participants understanding of the early years sector and get people on board with the project.
Marmalade is the informal, dynamic, free and open-access fringe event to the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship.
The core of Marmalade is user-centred content, generated by participants, focused on tackling intractable social and environmental challenges. In-depth workshop formats, typically one or two days long, foster community, friendship and real-world outcomes.
Marmalade was therefore the perfect option for launching the Oxford Early Years Rapid Action Lab.
